The RARE FLYERS took on the Run Gatwick 5km fun run!

Sunday morning dawned with a grey sky and a chilly breeze, but undaunted, Hilda Borkum, together with Trevor, Nikki and Brent van der Merwe, arrived at the start line in Southgate Park. The atmosphere was festive in the Run Village with warm up exercises and coffee pop-ups to keep us warm and entertained.

The cheerleading crowds and entertainers along the route enabled us all to race to the finish line achieving personal best times in support of The Brain Tumour Charity which was the focus of this year’s event.
